ROME, NY - The varsity eight battled Hamilton to the 1000 meter mark exchanging the lead but could not hold on at the end of the race. The impressive Hamilton crew won by a margin 13 seconds. Union's second varsity eight and the freshman eight also fell to Hamilton.

The women's team will compete against SUNY Albany on Saturday this weekend at home and then travel to Worcester, MA to compete at the Clark invitational on Sunday morning.
