FINAL RESULTS
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Union College track and field team traveled to the University of Rochester for the 2012 NYSCTC Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday, competing in a two-day competition. Freshman
Kyle Tevlin led the way for the Dutchmen, taking second-place in the javelin throw with a distance of 49.42 meters. Leading the Dutchwomen, senior
Kaitlin Camilleri took third-place in the hammer throw with a distance of 47.09 meters, again qualifying for the ECAC Championships.
Freshman
Tosin Kazeem earned two sixth-place finishes for Union, participating in the 100-meter and 200-meter dash. The rookie crossed the finish line in the 200-meter in 22.52 seconds, while his 100-meter time of 11.05 seconds qualifies Kazeem for the ECACs.
Taking fifth in the long jump, senior
Max Balter recorded a leap of 6.51 meters.
Dylan Schuck followed in ninth-place with a distance of 6.31 meters. The sophomore also placed sixth in the triple jump with a leap of 12.75 meters, while sophomore
Vincent Vivenzio took sixth in the shot put with a distance of 12.72 meters.
Union earned another sixth-place finish in the 4x100-meter relay. The team of Balter, Kazeem, junior

Nolan Hoenicke sprinted a collective time of 43.81 seconds, missing the ECAC qualifying time by .06 seconds.

th in the pole vault, as well, recording a jump of 2.80 meters.
Several Dutchmen and Dutchwomen will compete in the ECAC Championships, taking place May 17-18
th at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
