SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - After finishing second at the UNYSCSA Championships last weekend, Steve Schapp earned the Liberty League Co-Swimmer of the Week award while head coach Scott Felix was named UNYSCSA Coach of the Year on Monday.

It is the fourth weekly honor for Schapp this season.

On the first day of the UNYSCSA Championship, Schapp highlighted the Dutchmen by winning the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 4:34.58, besting Stevens' Alex Benham's 4:34.59.

On the second day, Schapp teamed up with Brian Scarlett, Alex Boyd and Kevin Jung to win the 200 yard Medley relay, turning in a time of 1:34.45. Schapp also won the 100 yard Butterfly in 51.14 and helped lead Union to a second place finish in the 16 team field.

Felix was awarded the honor of Coach of the Year by a vote from the 16 coaches that attended the championship.
