SCHENECTADY, NY - Union College track & field members Ryan Owen and Gabe Sturges earned Liberty League weekly honors for their performance at the Wesleyan Invitational. Owen was tabbed Co-Track Performer of the Week with St. Lawrence's Dan Ramsey while Sturges earned Co-Rookie of the Week with Vassar's Sam Wagner.

Owen won the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.54 and Sturges earned a first place finish in the 5,000 meter run. He marked a time of 16:38.01. 

Union travels to Vassar this Saturday for the Liberty League Championships. The meet is scheduled to start at 11 a.m.
