SCHENECTADY, NY -- Three Union Athletics teams begin the 2010-11 season with home events throughout the week. This week, the men's and women's soccer teams and the volleyball squad all open up their 2010 seasons with games from September 1 through September 4.

The first event of the Union fall is Wednesday, September 1, as the Dutchwomen soccer squad hosts SUNY Maritime at 7 p.m. at College Park. Friday, the soccer Dutchmen host Cazenovia at 3:30 p.m. (Worcester State will face RPI at 6 p.m.). The volleyball team takes the Viniar Athletic Center court Friday against Skidmore (4 p.m.) and The Sage College (6 p.m.). (Skidmore faces Sage at 8 p.m.). Saturday, at College Park, women's soccer meets Wellesley at noon followed by a Cazenovia-RPI men's game at 3:30 p.m. and the Union men's game vs. Worcester State at 6 p.m.
