SCHENECTADY, NY – The Union College crew teams won all its races against Rensselaer and Schenectady County Community College on Saturday off the banks of the Mohawk River.

In the Men's Varsity Eight Race, Union group A won the race in 7:20 while Union group B finished second in 7:28. Rensselaer's group turned in 7:42 to finish third.

The two women's varsity eight groups also finished first and second. Group B finished the race in 8:25 while Group A finished second in 8:55. Rensselaer finished third in 9:26.

In the Men's Novice Eight, the junior varsity team finished first in 7:27. Rensselaer had two boats in the water, the novice group finished second in 8:10 and the junior varsity group finished third in 8:14.

Union launched two varsity four boats into the water. Union Group A won the race in 9:39 and Group B finished third in 9:47.5. SCCC finished second in 9:46 while Rensselaer finished fourth in 10:34.

Both the Dutchmen and Dutchwomen conclude their home schedule on Sunday against the University of Albany. The race is scheduled to start at 9 a.m.
