SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – The Mount Holyoke College women's tennis team took a 7-2 win over Union College team Saturday afternoon at the Mount Holyoke Tennis Courts. Union is now 3-7 on the year.
Union's two points came from senior
Hallie Mabrey and sophomore
Brittany Gilbert. Mabrey claimed a 6-1, 6-2 triumph over Hsiang at the number one singles position, and Gilbert downed Moore 1-6, 6-4, 6-4 at number three singles.
After facing off against Smith College at 2:00 p.m. this afternoon, Union (3-7, 1-3 LL) will travel to RPI for a Liberty contest on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. The Liberty League Tournament is scheduled to take place next weekend in Canton, N.Y.
