SCHENECTADY, NY -- Union College junior attack
Kristin Joyce was named this week's Liberty League Women's Lacrosse Co-Offensive Performer of the Week for games through April 18. She shares this week's award with freshman attack Alyssa Cristaldi of Clarkson.
This is the fourth time this season that Joyce has received weekly honors from the league.
Joyce scored 11 goals in two wins for the Dutchwomen. She tallied seven times, tying her season high, in the 11-10 victory at #11 Middlebury. She scored four in the 15-1 win at Rochester. Joyce now has 48 goals on the season. She leads the league with 4.36 goals per game and is second with 4.82 points per contest.
The Dutchwomen, 7-4, have won four straight and moved up to #11 in this week's IWLCA Division III National Poll. Union hosts #9 Cortland today, Tuesday, April 20 at 4 p.m. at Frank Bailey Field. This will mark the seventh opponent that was also ranked at the time of the game with Union.
