SELINSGROVE, P.A. – The Union College men's track and field 4x800m relay team broke a 27-year-old record on their way to a second-place finish overall at the All-Atlantic Regional Track and Field Championship on Thursday afternoon from Susquehanna University. Junior
Charlie Alekson also earned a second-place finish in the 1500m. Union Finished in 19th with 18 points.

Ben Neff broke the record with their blazing 7:50.07 and earned second place in the event for Union. The previous record was set in 1996 with a 7:52.90.
Alekson had a busy day for Union, racing in the 1500m and the 4x800m relay. Alekson raced to a second-place finish in the 1500m with a 3:53.59 and earned eight points for the team.
Neff also raced in the 1500m and earned a seventh-place finish in the event with a 3:55.39. This time equals his personal best which he set this year at the Liberty League Championships. Neff earned two points for Union in the race.
First-year
Aidan Savitt made his debut at the regional in the 400m. Savitt clocked a 52.40 to finish in 26th place overall.
This meet signals and end of the 2023 outdoor season for Union.
