Jeff Behrman
finished his seventh year as head coach of the Union College football team in 2022 and has completely rebuilt the program into one of the top teams in the region and the country.

Taking over a team that went 0-10 in the year before his arrival, Behrman has guided Union to a 39-13 record over the last five seasons and is 42-20 overall in six seasons at the helm of the Dutchmen. The team was nationally ranked for much of the 2021 season and finished with an 8-2 record, marking only the ninth time in Union's illustrious history that the team lost two or fewer games in three consecutive seasons.

After a pair of seven-win seasons in 2017 and 2018, the Dutchmen boasted one of the best seasons in school history in 2019, posting the 10th undefeated regular season ever at Union and just the fourth 10-0 regular season record. The Dutchmen won their first 11 games of the 2019 season, including the program's first NCAA Tournament win since 2005. Behrman's squad finished the year ranked 12th in the final D3football.com national poll and 15th in the final AFCA national rankings.

Following the season, Behrman was recognized as the AFCA Region I Coach of the Year and the ECAC Division III Coach of the Year, in addition to leading the Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year. Individually, sophomore running back Ike Irabor was named a D3football.com All-America third-team selection, five players earned D3football.com All-Region recognition, and a program-record 21 players were named to the All-Liberty League teams.

Under his watch, 87 players have earned All-Liberty League recognition in just six years, including 2019 Player of the Year Ike Irabor and a pair of Rookies of the Year in Andre Ross, Jr. (2018) and Nicholas Dunneman (2022). In addition, 16 Dutchmen have earned All-Region honors and three have been named All-Americans, including 2022 AFCA and D3football.com All-American Tim Driscoll.
