SCHENECTADY , N.Y. - All 14 Union players saw court time and all but one scored as the Dutchwomen defeated Clarkson, 65-38, in an Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association women's basketball game Friday night in Memorial Field House.

The victory improved Union 's overall record to 8-2 and its conference mark to 2-0. Clarkson fell to 5-8 overall, 0-2 in the league.

Union connected on 11 of its 28 first-half field goals (39.3%) to take a 28-18 lead into the half. The Dutchwomen were even sharper in the second half as they connected on 12 of their 27 shots (44.4%) to finish the game with a percentage of 41.8 (23 of 55). Union also enjoyed a 43-26 advantage on the backboards and committed 10 less steals than the Golden Knights.

Courtney Shepard and Krystal Hammond each had 11 points for Union with Kate DeSorrento contributing 10 markers. Nicole Cerniglia led the Dutchwomen on the boards with seven.

Mickala Henson scored 10 points for the Golden Knights while Kate Quist pulled down eight rebounds.
