SCHENECTADY, N.Y.-Freshman forward Krystal Hammond (Shenendehowa) scored a game-high 20 points and also contributed nine rebounds to lead Union over Vassar, 59-33, in an Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association contest in Memorial Field House.

The victory leaves the Dutchwomen with a conference-leading 7-0 record and an overall standard of 15-2. The Dutchwomen have not lost since returning from their Holiday Recess on January 4.

Vassar, meanwhile, fell to 3-14 overall, 0-7 in the UCAA.

Union controlled the game from the opening tap and raced to a 32-18 halftime lead. The Brewers came to within 10 points mid-way through the second half, but the Dutchwomen pulled away to secure the victory.

Meredith McGair netted a dozen points for Vassar while Sarah Porter pullded down 10 rebounds.
