CLINTON, N.Y. - Jack Newton and Jim Henry scored two goals and had one assist apiece to help lead Hamilton College to a 15-5 win against Union College in an Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association men's lacrosse game played at Campus Road Athletic Field.
Peter Gross led Union (2-4, 3-11) with two goals. Dan Myerow had all three of the Dutchmen's assists. Robert Oram made 24 saves on 36 shots on goal. Oram stopped 11 shots in the first period alone.
Twelve different players scored for Hamilton. George Earle added two goals and Clark Winter chipped in a goal and an assist. Four Continental goalies combined to make nine saves. Eric Kaplan was credited with seven of those saves as he improved to 6-0 this season as the starting goalie.
Hamilton finished with a 59-15 advantage in shots. The Continentals scored the first four goals of the game helping them to a 7-2 lead at the half.
