Massena, NYSenior forward Devon Bruce and junior guard John Cagianello each scored 15 points while sophomore guard Joe Mackey chipped in with 11 markers to lead Union to a 66-56 Liberty League win over homestanding Clarkson.  The victory improved the Dutchmen's circuit record to 3-3 and kept them in a four-way tie for third place two games behind 5-1 Hobart and one game behind 4-2 Hamilton.  The Garnet is now 9-8 overall.

Bruce's layup with 47 seconds left in the first half produced a 26-26 tie at the break.  The game was tied twice in the early minutes of the second half before freshman forward Kyle Grimm's three-point basket with 15:22 remaining gave the Dutchmen a 35-32 lead they would not relinquish.  A three-pointer by Cagianello with 12:13 left made it 43-36 before another tres by the Dutchmen's leading scorer gave Union a 46-37 advantage with 10-23 showing.

Two free throws by junior point guard Chris Murphy gave the Garnet an 11-point advantage, 51-40, at 7:33 before a layup by Mackey and a free throw by Bruce helped the Dutchmen to its biggest margin of the contest, 65-54, with 31 seconds remaining.
