Caitlin Cuozzo (Norfolk, MA) to take a commanding 3-0 advantage. Nazareth came back in the second half on goals by Rosie Simiele (Syracuse, NY) and Kristina Cristofori (Fairport, NY) to trim the lead to 3-2. Mariani added her second goal of the game and 14th of the season just 42 seconds after Cristofori scored to enable the Dutchwomen to regain a two-goal advantage. Nazareth had an 18-15 edge in shots. Nazareth goalie Shannon Burns (Albany, NY) made nine saves.
Julie Gawronski (Dunkirk, NY) had seven saves for Union.
