Molly Flanagan (Loomis Chaffee/Simsbury, Conn.) had four goals and one assist to lead Union College to a 20-3 non-conference victory over the Hartwick College women's lacrosse team on Thursday.
Flanagan scored with 21:50 left in the first half to give the Dutchwomen (7-3) a 5-0 lead. Union has won seven straight.
The Hawks (4-6) received a goal from senior midfielder Caitlin Damberg-Mauser (Kingswood/Brookfield, N.H.) with 16:25 remaining in the first to pull within 5-1. Union scored the next 12 goals and held a 17-1 lead with 11:46 left in regulation.
Freshman attack Erin Lawson (Springside/Flourtown, Pa.) and senior attack Kathy Dolezal (Williston Northampton/ Clearwater, Fla.) each had two goals and one assist for Union.
Junior goaltender Rachel Beckman (Needham/Needham, Mass.) stopped four shots to earn the victory.
Damberg-Mauser finished with two goals to pace Hartwick. Freshman attack Dawn Sicari (Bay Shore/Bay Shore, N.Y.) had one goal and sophomore midfielder Jenev Schilling (Martha's Vineyard Regional/Vineyard Haven, Mass.) contributed one assist.
Sophomore goaltender Emily Follit (East Longmeadow/East Longmeadow, Mass.) made five saves on 21 shots for the Hawks.
Union is idle until April 22 when the Dutchwomen host Hamilton at 4 p.m.
