Box ScoreSARATOGA, N.Y. -- Skidmore College took a 5-1 lead through the first quarter en route to a 13-4 men's lacrosse victory over Union in Liberty League play Saturday.
The Thoroughbreds improved to 7-2 overall and 2-1 in the conference, while the Dutchmen fell to 4-6 overall and 0-2 in the league.
Union got two goals each from Bill Condon (West Hartford, CT/Conard) and Mike Sparico (Riverside, CT/Greenwich). Pete Gross (Larchmont, NY/Salisbury) added two assists for the Dutchmen, while Bryan Bendjy (Ronkonkoma/Salisbury) and Dan Myerow (Sudbury, MA/Lincoln-Sudbury) had one assist each for the visitors.
Union goaltender Will Tamm (Millbrook/Lawrenceville) made 19 saves on the day. Skidmore outshot the Dutchmen, 46-22.
Union will host Hartwick Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
