Union vs. Hartwick
Hartwick and Union went to the wire before the Hawks defeated the Dutchwomen in five sets, 30-23, 30-32, 26-30, 31-29, and 15-13. Hartwick left outside hitter Abby Cummings (Syracuse, NY/West Genesee) had 37 digs, 19 kills, and two block attempts. Setter Erica Henderson (Rosendale, NY/Rondout Valley) had 60 assists, 14 digs, and four kills. Middle blocker Melissa Small (Ossining, NY/Ossining) finished the match with 14 kills, five digs, and two blocks. On the other side of the net middle hitter Erin Schumaker (Saratoga Springs, NY/Saratoga Springs) led the Dutchwomen with 17 kills and seven blocks.

Skidmore vs. Russell Sage
Skidmore and Russell Sage battled through five games before the Thoroughbreds came out with the win, 30-23, 26-30, 30-23, 27-30, and 15-8. For Skidmore junior middle hitter Darryl Manzer (Camden, NY/Camden) finished the game with 30 kills, four blocks, and a .403 hitting percentage. Fellow classmate and setter Laura Olstad (Palo Alto, CA/Palo Alto) turned in 61 assists and 15 digs, while senior libero Becky Herman (Staten Island, NY/Brooklyn Friends) had 35 digs in the win. For the Gators sophomore Elizabeth St. Dennis (Gloversville, NY/Mayfield) had 13 kills and six blocks. Right outside hitter Catelyn Samoranski (Ballston Spa, NY/Ballston Spa) finished with 18 kills and 13 digs. Freshman setter Kaitlin Olmstead (Elmira, NY/Horseheads) tallied 43 assists and defensive specialist Shannon Young (Utica, NY/Thomas R. Proctor) had 39 digs and four aces.

Oswego vs. Vassar
Vassar swept Oswego 30-27, 30-25, and 30-23. Freshman Shannon Hennigan (Eden, NY/Eden) had 23 assists, 10 digs, 6 kills, and two aces for Oswego while Breanne Scholla (Oswego, NY/Oswego) recorded 10 kills, nine digs, and one ace.

Utica vs. Potsdam
Potsdam defeated Utica in four games, 30-20, 30-22, 26-30, and 30-23.

Union vs. Oswego
After dropping the first game Oswego came back to win the next three over Union, 26-30, 30-26, 30-22, and 30-23. Freshman Shannon Hennigan (Eden, NY/Eden) had 47 assists, 15 digs, five kills, and five aces. Sophomore Breanna Scholla (Oswego, NY/Oswego) recorded 16 kills, 14 digs, and one block while junior Shara Dowd (Hannibal, NY/Hannibal) had 15 kills, five blocks, and two aces. For Union senior Suzy Barbaritz (Clarence, NY/Clarence) had 34 assists.

Skidmore vs. Potsdam
Skidmore and Potsdam went the distance with the Thoroughbreds once again winning their match, 30-16, 26-30, 30-15, 28-30, and 15-11. Skidmore's Darryl Manzer (Camden, NY/Camden) had 23 kills and six blocks to go with a .356 hitting percentage. Freshman Erica Duncan (San Francisco, CA/St. Ignatius) had 16 kills, nine digs, and recorded a .306 hitting percentage. Freshman Alicia Brown (Canastota, NY/Oneida) had 19 digs, six kills, and five aces.
