SCHENECTADY, NY – Second-half goals by sisters Caitlyn Cuozzo (Norfolk, MA/ King Philip Regional) and Allison Cuozzo (Norfolk, MA/ King Philip Regional) lifted the Dutchwomen over Nazareth, 2-1, in women's soccer action at College Park Field Saturday afternoon. The Dutchwomen extended their unbeaten streak to 13 games, winning their sixth straight to post a 12-2-3 overall record at the conclusion of the regular season. The Golden Flyers got on the board on their first shot of the game at 6:33 when Rosie Simiele's (Syracuse, NY/ Solvay) cross was mishandled by Union goaltender Mia Simone (Rexford, NY/ Academy of the Holy Names) and Kelly Finn (Cortland, NY/ Homer) recovered the ball in time to send a shot into the open net.

Union College rebounded in the second half, outshooting its visitors, 10-3. Caitlin Cuozzo found the net at 55:55 when she headed in a corner from Katie Weinstein (Marblehead, MA/ Marblehead), just grazing the post.

Allison Cuozzo netted the game-winner less than seven minutes later, splitting two defenders as she carried a pass from Ashley Brown (Plainville, CT/ Suffield Academy) up the right side. Cuozzo's arcing shot sailed past Nazareth goaltender Shannon Burns (Albany, NY/ Colonie).

Simone made two saves for the Dutchwomen, while Burns stopped five shots in 66:35 minutes of action for Nazareth. Polly Muehlenkamp (Wyoming, OH/ Wyoming) relieved Burns midway through the second half, and Kiera DeNoyer (Scotia, NY/ Scotia-Glenville) played the final 10 minutes of the game.
