ONEONTA, NY -- The Rochester Institute of Technology defeated Union in the Holiday Inn/Red Dragon Volleyball Invitational hosted by SUNY Oneonta Saturday. The Tigers won in three games by scores of 30-23, 30-21 and 30-22.

Junior Danna DeBlasio (Schenectady, NY/Schalmont) led the Dutchwomen with 10 digs. Erin Schumaker (Saratoga Springs, NY/Saratoga Springs) had a team high eight kills in the match.

Union, 2-2 on the young season, returns to action Friday to open play at the two-day Vassar Invitational.
