Dutchmen post fourth-straight shutout, 0-0 at Oswego

OSWEGO, NY – The Union College men's soccer team closed out the regular season with a 0-0 double-overtime tie at Oswego State Saturday afternoon. The shutout marks the fourth-straight shutout for the Dutchmen (11-2-4, 3-1-4 Liberty League).
 
Junior Rob Kramer (Westport, CT) made five saves in his ninth shutout of the season, tying the Union single-season record set by Jonathan LaDuke in 1986. It marks his 18th career shutout, which is one shy of Union's career record, set by Lee Popper.
 
The Dutchmen outshot the Lakers, 13-10 in the game, including an 8-5 lead in the first frame and a one-shot advantage in the final overtime period.
 
Shaun Sessa made four saves for Oswego.
 
Union is back in action on Friday, November 2nd at the Liberty League Championships at St. Lawrence. The third-seeded Dutchmen, unbeaten in seven games, will face Hamilton in the first round.
