POTSDAM, NY – Union College senior
Caitlin Cuozzo (Norfolk, MA) had a hand in three goals as the 24
th-ranked Dutchwomen defeated Clarkson, 4-0, in Liberty League women's soccer action Saturday afternoon. Union improves to 10-3 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

Allison Cuozzo (Norfolk, MA) at the 16 minute mark before picking up a helper with a cross to
Katie Weinstein (Marblehead, MA), whose shot was mishandled by Clarkson netminder Meagan Emlaw.
Caitlin Cuozzo struck with her fourth goal of the season in the 52
nd minute with a short second tap of an
Ashley Brown (Plainville, CT) shot that was initially saved.
Katie McLean (Newton, MA) put the Dutchwomen up, 4-0, in the 62
nd minute with a chip-shot from 15 yards out that sailed over Emlaw's head. The tally marked the 12
th on the season for the freshman.
Melissa McDonald (Lynnfield, MA) and
Mia Simone (Rexford, NY) each played 45 minutes, facing zero shots. Emlaw made eight saves before giving way to Stephanie Collins with 24:35 left to play.
Union held a 21-2 shot advantage and a 6-1 lead in corner kicks.
The Dutchwomen return home to host Skidmore on October 13 in a 1 p.m. Liberty League game. Union then faces Hartwick at home on Sunday at 1 p.m.
