SCHENECTADY, NY --
Rachel Ormsby (Charlton, NY) led the Union College volleyball team to a 4-0 record at the Union Invitational, ending Saturday. Ormsby was named Tournament MVP, and the Dutchwomen only dropped one game in their four matches. Both Union and Vassar finished the tournament at a perfect 4-0.

Union 3, Oswego 0 (30-21, 30-11, 30-27)
Heidi Armstrong led the Lakers with 14 kills, two digs and a block. Kristen Allen added five kills, an ace, six digs and a block, while Amanda McManus collected 23 assists, three digs, a kill and a block.
Plattsburgh 3, Utica 1 (30-22, 27-30, 33-31, 30-12)
Kaitlin Farruggia led the Cardinals with 35 assists, 10 digs, three kills and a block. Karen Crisanti added 15 kills, 31 digs, an ace and three blocks. Andrea Dekker collected 22 digs and five kills, while Melissa Austin added nine kills, two aces and 24 digs.
Skidmore 3, Russell Sage 0 (30-19, 30-21, 30-21)
Becca Ormsby led the Thoroughbreds with 37 assists and 11 digs. Erica Duncan collected 14 kills and 12 digs, while Lauren Dinsdale registered 25 digs. Meredith Palmer had 12 kills and a .435 hit percentage.

Skidmore 3, Plattsburgh 0 (30-19, 30-15, 30-17)
Erica Duncan led Skidmore with 13 kills, 12 digs and three aces. Becca Ormsby had 25 assists, and Lauren Dinsdale had 22 digs. Natalie Dunn served up six aces.
Russell Sage 3, Oswego 1 (15-30, 30-24, 30-27, 30-27)
Heidi Armstrong led the Lakers with 26 kills, 19 digs and a block. Kristen Allen had seven kills, 15 digs and five blocks, while Kim Hayes added nine kills, 17 digs and three aces. Amanda McManus collected 46 assists and 14 digs.
Vassar 3, Hartwick 1 (14-30, 30-11, 30-27, 30-20)
Cat Foley paced the Brewers with 18 kills, four aces and a block. Tess Johnson added 14 kills and a pair of blocks. Amanda Hsiung added 28 digs and two aces.
Kerry Sisson led Hartwick with 26 digs and six aces. Chris Evans collected 22 digs and 17 kills, and Megan Lemery added 25 assists and five kills.

Vassar 3, Utica 0 (30-20, 30-14, 30-21)
Alia Al-Khatib led Vassar with 20 assists, three kills, three aces and nine digs. Cat Foley added 12 kills, three aces and three blocks.
Karen Crisanti led Utica with five kills, two assists, 14 digs, four blocks and an ace. Andrea Dekker added five kills and 11 digs. Brielle Swerdlin had five kills, 11 digs, three aces and a block.
Union 3, Hartwick 1 (30-21, 31-33, 30-12, 30-27)
Abby Cummings led Hartwick with 41 digs and 16 kills, and Kerry Sisson added 33 digs.
Jen Merinder (Andover, MA) paced Union with 55 assists and 18 digs.
Erin Schumaker (Saratoga Springs, NY) collected 15 kills, three solo blocks and six block assists.
Rachel Ormsby (Charlton, NY) had 14 kills, four solo blocks and three block assists.
Kaitlyn Evans (Hamburg, NY) added 20 digs, while Erica VanValkenburg (Cicero, NY) had 16 kills and 16 digs.
