CLINTON, N.Y. -- Jon Miller (Yarmouth, Maine) scored four goals to help the 20th-ranked Union College men's lacrosse team past host Hamilton College, 12-8, in a Liberty League men's lacrosse game at Campus Road Athletic Field Wednesday afternoon. The win, Union's tenth on the season, ties the program's modern-day record for wins in a season, and marks the fourth in league play for the Dutchmen, the most in program history. Union has solidified its first Liberty League tournament berth in school history, and can still finish as high as second place in the standings.

Hamilton drew within 8-7 late in the third quarter with back-to-back tallies, but the Dutchmen responded with Jacobson's unassisted game-winner.
With mere seconds remaining on the clock in the third quarter, Jacobson was awarded the ball for an inbounds play behind the net. He waited patiently before coming around the right side of the net and attacking the crease before placing his shot past Leino for his second goal of the game with one tick remaining on the clock.
Led by a pair of scores from Miller, including a late man-up tally, Union outscored Hamilton in the fourth quarter, 3-1, to keep the Continentals at bay.
