SCHENECTADY, NY -- Union's Lauren McCormick was named the Liberty League Women's Basketball Co-Forward of the Week, sharing the honor with Katie Palmer of St. Lawrence. This is McCormick's first career weekly player honor.

McCormick tied her career high with 18 points Friday at Hamilton, and did the same again on Saturday at William Smith. She shot 76.5% in the two games and had a career high 13 rebounds with her first career double double Friday.

Union, 10-5 overall and 4-1 in the Liberty League, is home this weekend at the Viniar Athletic Center. The Dutchwomen host Vassar Friday at 6 p.m. and RPI Saturday at 2 p.m.
