Women's soccer loses at Hamilton 3-1

SCHENECTADY, NY – Senior midfielder Allison Cuozzo registered a goal in the Union College women's soccer, 3-1, setback at Hamilton on Saturday afternoon. The lose moves Union to 10-5-0 overall and 4-2-0 in league play, while Hamilton improves to 7-5-1 and 4-2-0 in the Liberty League.
 
Cuozzo's goal – her sixth of the season – came only 8:13 into the game and was unassisted.
 
The Dutchwomen carried the lead until the 69th minute when Alex Rimmer exploded for three straight goals at 69:47, 70:20 and 88:28. She now has 12 on the year.
 
In goal, junior Abby Stohler made four saves for Union, while Kate Fowler turned away six for Hamilton.
 
The Dutchwomen return to action on Sunday, Oct. 25 with a 1 p.m. match at William Smith.
