SCHENECTADY, NY- Seniors Jordan Remillard, Erika Van Valekenburg, and Bridget Little were all honored before the game on Senior Night and they all went out winners as the women's volleyball team defeated visiting Sage 3-0 (25-18, 25-14, 25-18.) on Tuesday at Viniar Athletic Center. The night was also billed as “Crankin for the Cure” as both teams raised funds to fight breast cancer.
Sage would take an early 3-0 lead in the first game but Union would come back as twice the Dutchwomen would tie the game on a block by Remillard and a kill by Eve Richards. Little's kill would give Union an 18-14 lead that it would not relinquish.
