MIDDLEBURY, VT–
Middlebury scored three goals in the game's first 19:06 on its way to a 4-0 non-league win over Union on Kohn Field. The 17th-ranked Panthers improve to 4-3 overall as they prepare to host Amherst on Saturday, while union drops to 4-5.

Middlebury took the lead just :53 seconds in when Elinore O'Brien tipped in a shot after a scramble in the Union crease area. The lead doubled at 13:18, when O'Brien struck again for her third of the season. Lauren Greer's shot was saved by Sarah Rios, with Greer gathering the rebound and sliding a quick pass to O'Brien for the goal.

Middlebury made it a 3-0 game at 19:06, when Greer scored with a reverse stick goal in transition, taking a nice feed from Charlotte Gardiner. Greer scored her team-leading fifth of the season for the only second half goal (48:39), putting home her own rebound.

Becca Shaw earned the shutout in goal for Middlebury, making six saves on the afternoon, while Rios made 15 stops for Union. 

The Dutchwomen return to Liberty League play Friday with a 4 p.m. game at RPI.
