Brendan Kinnane paced the Union College men's lacrosse team with five goals and an assist in a 10-5 victory at Hamilton on Wednesday. The game marked the conference opener for the Dutchmen, who improve to 7-1 on the year. Hamilton is now 6-2 overall and 0-2 in the conference.
Union, which extended its winning streak to seven games, received goals from Kinnane (5), senior

Sean Aaron turned away 12 shots, allowing four goals in just under 58 minutes of action. Sophomore
Jon Goldberg made one save in just over two minutes of play.
Kinnane got the scoring started at 12:25 of the first and assisted on the same tally at 8:35 by Garibaldi. McKenna closed out the scoring in the first with a minute left, giving Union a 3-0 advantage.
A pair of goals pulled Hamilton within one at 6:08, but Union responded with five straight markers. Kinnane registered goals at 3:51 of the second, 4:51 of the third and 14:07 of the fourth. Woven within Kinnane's spurt was McKenna's 15th goal of the season at 1:23 of the second and Garibaldi's seventh a 2:01 of the third.
The teams exchanged goals the rest of the way with Meyer making it 9-4 at 10:54 and Kinnane moved it to 10-4 at 2:20.
The Dutchmen continues play on Saturday, April 10 at St. Lawrence. The action starts at 2 p.m.
