Joe Mason recorded his first double double with 14 points and a career best 10 rebounds, and just missed the triple with seven assists. Keven Donohue added 16 points and Brian DeBisschop scored 10 in 11 minutes off the bench for the Dutchmen.

Taeshon Johnson led the Mountaineers with a game best 27 points and Jordan Santiago scored 18. Johnson led the visitors with eight rebounds.

Union shot 53% for the game and held Southern Vermont to 31% shooting. Union also had a 52-37 rebounding advantage.

The Dutchmen never trailed and the last tie was 4-4 just 2:04 into the game. Union went on a 27-8 run over the next 9:47 for a 31-12 lead with just over eight minutes left in the half and took a 26 point lead into the locker room (49-23).

The largest lead of the second half was 50 after a DeBisschop layup with 7:15 remaining made it 89-39. A second free throw by Avi Adler-Cohen gave Union the 100th point with 30 seconds remaining in the game.
