Ted McKenna and freshman attack
Nate Greenberg each scored three goals as Union (5-2, 1-0 Liberty League) scored seven unanswered goals in the second half to earn a come-from-behind 12-7 win over Hamilton (6-2, 0-2 Liberty League).
The Dutchmen outscored Hamilton 8-1 in the second half and held a 29-16 ground ball advantage over the final two quarters of its Liberty League opener.
Junior goaltender
Sean Aaron made 11 saves in the game and added eight ground balls, matching senior midfielder
Derek Mayer for the team lead in that category.
Trailing 7-5 with under four minutes remaining in the third quarter, the Dutchmen scored three even strength goals in a span of 1:09 to take the lead for good. Greenberg got things started with an unassisted goal on a long shot from straightaway at 3:54.
Senior attack
Brendan Kinnane followed with a goal at 3:04 to tie the game. Just 19 seconds later, after a delay of game call gave Union possession without a faceoff, McKenna added his third goal of the night to give the Dutchmen an 8-7 lead.
Kinnane added a man-up goal with 1:29 remaining in the period to continue Union's run. In the final frame, the Dutchmen added even-strength goals from sophomore midfielder

th, and second of the game), Greenberg at 8:36 to round out the scoring.
The visiting Continentals led for most of the first 35 minutes of the contest. Junior attack Henry Burchenal, Hamilton's leading goal-scorer, recorded his 18th goal of the season at 7:06 of the first quarter for an early lead. Union's Santangelo scored just 17 seconds later to even the score, and Mayer added another at 5:12 to give Union the lead.
Hamilton's Luke Sisler scored with 2:56 remaining the first quarter to tie the game, and Luke Walsh (man-up) and Sisler opened the scoring for the Continentals in the second quarter at 14:34 and 8:37, giving the visitors a 4-2 lead. Greenberg scored his first of the game at 5:17 to stop the run, but Hamilton's Luke Sadoff and Jon Leanos scored to push Hamilton's lead to three at 2:54.
The Continentals were poised to enter the half with a 6-3 lead, but McKenna scored off a feed from Santangelo with one second remaining in the half to give Union momentum heading into the final 30 minutes of play.
McKenna scored again at 11:14 of the third quarter with a behind-the-back goal to cut Hamilton's lead to one, but Leanos scored at 6:10 before Union began its string of seven unanswered goals.
Union will host St. Lawrence on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Frank Bailey Field
