AUBURNDALE, F.L.- Union College baseball sophomore infielder
Jeff Grasso registered his first home run of the season in the Dutchmen's 13-5 loss to Wisconsin-Oshkosh on Wednesday afternoon at Lake Myrtle Park.
Grasso smacked the two-run dinger over the left field fence in the top of the eighth inning that scored himself and junior
CJ Worley, who got on base with two runs batted in double to left center field. Grasso also singled and walked in the game.

Vincent Esposito continued his strong start by going 1-3 with a RBI triple to center field. Freshman outfielder
Josh Abolt registered his second straight game with a hit after coming in relief of Esposito in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Matt Yonta took the hill for the Dutchmen to open up the game. He earned the loss (0-2) after giving up nine runs over three innings. Freshman
Brian Dolan made his first collegiate pitching appearance as he tossed a scoreless eighth inning.
Chris Donovan and
Chris Pignatello also pitched two innings of relief ball. Pignatello struck out four in two innings of work. Oshkosh pitcher Benn Messenger picked up the win after pitching seven innings and striking out ten.
The Dutchmen close out their participation in the RussMatt Invitational by going 4-3. They return to New York to open up Liberty League action with a four-game set with Bard on Saturday and Sunday.
