POTSDAM, NY—The Union College volleyball team finished second in the Liberty League Championship as they fell 3-1 (23-25. 19-25, 25-21, 24-26) to Clarkson on Saturday afternoon.
The three seniors led the way with more than fifty percent of the kills.
Rachel Wyman tallied 15,
Lauren Woods posted 11 and
Kelley White had nine. Woods also contributed nine total blocks (one block solo, eight block assists).
Amanda Price posted 38 assists while
Katherine Moeller had 22 digs.
Union finishes the season with a 29-6 overall record, going 29-5 in Division III play. This is the best season result since the 2008 season when they fell in the second round of the NCAA regionals. This is the last game for the senior class of Wyman, Woods and White.
