BUFFALO, NY – Linsey Giles recorded her second-straight game with a goal, as the sophomore's lone goal was the difference maker in Union's 1-0 win over Buffalo State on Saturday afternoon.

Giles goal came within the first minute of the second half after she collected a loose ball 15 yards out and fired it in for her team-leading third goal of the season. She currently leads the team in points with seven, stemming from three goals and one assist.

Behind the backline, Union goalkeeper
Kelsey Hartsoe had a stellar outing in net. She stopped a total of six shots in the contest, all coming in the first half, to record her third clean sheet of the season.

The game also featured a handful of cautions and one ejection. Both teams received two yellow cards each, Union's going against
Allie Supranowicz in the 46th minute and
Maya Stevenson in the 85th minute. Senior
Katie Monahan also received a red card, which fortunately for the Dutchwomen was in the 90th minute.

The 3-1-1 Dutchwomen return to College Park Field on Saturday, Sept. 23, to open Liberty League play against St. Lawrence. The game against the Saints is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. (ET).
