ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - Union College Junior forward
Linsey Giles scored the game-winning goal to lead the Dutchwomen to a 3-0 victory over Bard in Liberty League action, Wednesday night.
With the victory, Union (6-6-1, 3-3-0 Liberty League) moves into a three-way tie for fourth place in the conference standings with three matches left in the regular season.Â

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Giles gave Union the lead in the ninth minute on a header into the top left corner on a cross from senior defender Nicole Sturno.
- First-year midfielder Bella Dworkin doubled the Dutchwoman lead in the 14th minute as the visitors held a 2-0 edge heading into halftime.
- Union scored the lone goal of the second half when sophomore forward Amanda Ashmen tapped in a cross from first-year forward Alexa Cornacchia to secure the victory.
