SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Union College junior forward
Salvador Lopez Jr. scored two goals to lead the Dutchmen over SUNY Poly, 2-0, Wednesday night from College Park Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Union scored the lone goal of the opening half in the 21st minute when Lopez Jr. rifled a shot into the bottom right corner off a through ball from sophomore midfielder Poom Mera. The Dutchmen held 1-0 edge heading into halftime.
- Lopez Jr. netted his second goal of the contest in the 49th minute after drawing and converting a penalty kick to put the game out of reach.
- Senior goalkeeper Jonathan Graziosi tallied four saves in net, helping the Dutchmen to their first clean sheet of the season. Union is 3-1 with Graziosi in-between the posts this fall.
- The win moves Union's home record to 4-1 on the season as they outshot the Wildcats 16-6 on the game.
