The Union College Dutchmen begin Liberty League play this weekend taking on Hobart College this Saturday, Oct. 6, in Geneva, N.Y. Kick off vs the Statesmen is set for noon (ET).

Union ranks 10th in the NCAA for total defense, as the Dutchmen give their opponents an average of 212.5 yards per game. Union also ranks 38th in the NCAA for rushing defense, allowing only 83.0 rushing yards per game.

Wide receiver
Andre Ross Jr. earned three-straight Liberty League Rookie of the Week honors, twice been named to D3Football.com's National Team of the Week, and was lately named ECAC DIII North Rookie of the Month.
Ross Jr. recorded seven catches for 124 yards and one touchdown in Union's dominant 49-6 win against Curry on Sept. 22. It marked the fourth-consecutive week that the wide out has surpassed 100 yards in a game.
The Washington, D.C., native already has eight touchdowns on the season, with 31 total catches for 619 yards. Among the nation, Ross Jr. ranks fourth for both total receiving yards and receiving yards per game (154.8), while also ranking fifth in touchdown catches.
