The Dutchmen improved to 5-2 with a 1-2 record in Liberty League play with a 29-7 win at St. Lawrence on Oct. 20. First-year wide receiver

Griffin Beal led the receiving corps with 89 total yards on nine catches. The Union defense recorded its first safety of the season. Union record a season-high four sacks in the contest.
Last Season vs Rochester
Union College shut out the Yellowjackets, 27-0, during last year's meeting at Rochester on Oct. 14, 2017. The Dutchmen rushed for 125 yards and passed for 157 yards.
Will Bellamy threw for 22 yards in the outing, completing two of four passes. The defense limited the Yellowjackets to just 103 yards of rushing and 139 yards of passing in the contest.

The Dutchmen rank 56th in the nation for passing offense, averaging 252.4 yards per game. Sophomore QB
Will Bellamy is 57th in the nation for total passing yards (1,754) and 36th for passing yards per game (250.6). He is also ranked 40th in the nation for completion percentage (.622) and 55th in passing efficiency (146.0).
You Shall Not Pass
Union ranks 22nd in the NCAA for total defense, as the Dutchmen's opponents average 264.9 yards per game. Union also ranks 21st in the NCAA for rushing defense, allowing only 72.3 rushing yards per game.
Rookie Sensation
Wide receiver
Andre Ross Jr. earned three-straight Liberty League Rookie of the Week honors, twice been named to D3Football.com's National Team of the Week, and was named ECAC DIII North Rookie of the Month in September.
The Washington, D.C., native already has 11 touchdowns on the season, with 48 total catches for 829 yards. Ross Jr. has recorded over 100 yards receiving in his first five games this season, and currently ranks 13th in the NCAA in receiving yards per game, averaging 118.4. He is also 23rd in the nation for total receiving yards.
Running in the Lead

Ike Irabor leads the Liberty League in numerous categories, including: yards per carry (4.72); total rushing yards (505); and rushing yards per game (72.1). He is second in the conference for rushing touchdowns with six.
