Women's Hockey Falls 4-0 to Princeton

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Union College women' hockey team came up short against #6/7 Princeton, 4-0, in an ECAC Hockey matchup, Saturday afternoon at Messa rink.  
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Tigers took an early lead after a goal 4:40 into the game and gained a two-goal advantage 13:12 into the first period to hold a 2-0 lead heading into the second frame.
  • After a scoreless second period, Princeton added a pair of goals in the third to secured the 4-0 victory.  
  • In net, sophomore goaltender Coco Francis recorded 29 saves for Union. 
 
WHAT'S NEXT
The Dutchwomen return to the ice on January 4, when they travel to play Bemidji State at 7:00 p.m. (ET).
