SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Union College women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (25-15, 25-13, 25-10) contest to Clarkson University in Liberty League action at the Viniar Athletic Center on Saturday afternoon.
Union (9-10, 0-5 Liberty League) struggled offensively against the Golden Knights, managing only 19 kills and hitting .011 on their 91 attacks. Clarkson (16-3, 4-0 Liberty League), meanwhile, hit .348 with 40 kills on 89 attempts.
Junior
Gillian Gore led eight different Dutchwomen with at least one kill by putting down six of her 24 attempts, and just missed a double-double with nine digs. Classmates

Lara Atalay added four kills apiece as well.
Clarkson's Kristin Werdine led all players with 12 kills on .375 hitting, followed by Rachel Reusch with eight kills and Gillian Kurtic with seven kills on 10 attempts (.700).
The Dutchwomen take a break from conference play on Thursday with a 7 p.m. match at The Sage Colleges.
