Bella McKee was named the ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Week, the conference announced on Monday morning.
The first-year goaltender helped the Dutchwomen secure a close weekend series at Lindenwood, with a 2-1 loss on Friday, and a 2-2 tie on Saturday. McKee recorded a solid 90 saves total on the weekend, including a team-high 51 saves. This was the most saves by a Union Dutchwomen netminder since
Amelia Murray made 60 saves against Union on Feb. 23, 2019. With her performance in Missouri, McKee moves to a .933 save percentage and a 2.70 goals against average on the season.
The Dutchwomen return home for a non-conference weekday match, taking on Syracuse University at Messa Rink on Tuesday, October 29th. Puckdrop is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start.
