BUFFALO, N.Y. – Behind four touchdown passes from junior quarterback
William Bellamy, the Union College football team defeated Buffalo State, 28-14, on Saturday afternoon at Coyer Field.
The win improves the No. 24 Dutchmen to 7-0 on the season with a 4-0 mark in conference play. The Bengals drop to 1-6 on the season and 1-2 in the Liberty League.

How It Happened
Union scored on the opening drive, which was helped by a 35-yard return on the opening drive by
Kevin Rabacs. The Dutchmen finished off the 48-yard drive in under two minutes to get on the board.
The Dutchmen then scored again on its second possession, this time driving 63 yards in 3:14 to take a 14-0 lead.
Buffalo State got on the board in the beginning of the second quarter, but Union responded before the end of the half to take back its two-score lead.
In the fourth quarter, Buffalo State intercepted a Union pass at its one-yard line and went on to complete the 99-yard drive to make the score 21-14. However, Union came back on the following possession, marching down the field 80 yards in 11 plays to score its fourth and final TD of the game.

Union faces its toughest test of the season next weekend, traveling to Ithaca on Nov. 2 to take on the No. 7/8 Ithaca Bombers. The two undefeated teams will kick-off at Butterfield Stadium at 1 p.m. (ET).
