SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Union College football team remained undefeated with a 13-7 non-conference win over Utica on Saturday afternoon at Frank Bailey Field at Bertagna-Class of 1985 Stadium.
With the win Union improves to 9-0 on the season for just the seventh time in school history, with one game remaining in the season. Additionally, Ithaca lost its game to Rensselaer today, solidifying Union's sole claim to the Liberty League Championship. It marks the first time a single team finished as Liberty League champs since 2014 and Union's first out-right championship since 2006.
