– The Union College women's hockey team fell to Harvard, 5-1, Friday night at Messa Rink.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Crimson notched the opening goal of the match at the midway point of the first period to take lead, then added goals at 7:28 and 4:12 to take a 3-0 edge after the opening period.
  • With Union on the power play early in the second period, Harvard scored a short-handed goal to make it 4-0. The visitors scored for the fifth time less than three minutes later to gain a decisive 5-0 advantage with 20 minutes left to play.
  • 5:01 into the third period, the Dutchwomen got on the board when first-year forward Maia Martinez scored her first collegiate goal off feeds from classmate Grace Heiting and sophomore defenseman Megan Ryan.
