ITHACA, N.Y. – The Union College softball team dropped a pair of games against #14 Ithaca, 8-2 in game one, and 1-0 in five innings in game two, Sunday.

The Dutchwomen managed only three hits, and scored two runs in an 8-2 defeat. Senior

Julia Boule each drove in a run in the loss.

Kaleigh Conte to get Union on the board. The next batter, Boule, grounded out to second allowing first-year
Julissa Malana cross home plate and make the score 3-2. The Bombers scored four runs in the bottom of the inning to put the game out of reach.

Trailing 1-0 in the fifth inning of game two, the game was delayed and eventually called off due to rain. The Bombers scored the winning run in the fourth inning to complete the sweep over the Dutchwomen.Â

Union returns to action Wednesday, April 17, hosting Middlebury at 3:30 p.m. (ET).
