Evan Gilland recovered it to put Union on the board. The Pride would later score a field goal in the first quarter, but Union's

Joseph Ferreira would both score touchdowns before halftime to put Union up 21-3.
Coming out of the half, Ferreira again found the end zone, this time capping off a 12-play drive with a 1-yard TD to put the Dutchmen up 27-3.
Springfield's offense started to click in the fourth quarter, but it was too little, too late. The Pride would score two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, but Union held on for the 27-17 win.
