WAYNE, N.J. – William Paterson University scored once in the 12th minute and Union College could not manage an equalizer the rest of the way as the Pioneers defeated the Dutchwomen by a 1-0 score in non-conference field hockey action on Wednesday night at Wightman Stadium.
The only goal of Wednesday's game off the stick of William Paterson's Shannon Super at the 11:33 mark of the first quarter, when a deflected shot from the top of the circle got past junior
Heather Poisson. Union had a pair of penalty corners after the goal and senior
