ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Union College men's soccer team traveled to Rochester to close out their 2021-22 campaign, Saturday afternoon, against the Rochester Institute of Technology Tigers. Union lost 3-0 in the contest.
In the first half, RIT tallied two goals within 35 seconds of each other and jumped out to an early 2-0 lead. These goals both came in 25th minute. Union was outshot 4-3 in the half and each team made one save.
In the second half, RIT added to their lead with a goal in the 70th minute. The chances picked up through out the game, but Union was outshot by a 7-6 margin in the half and 11-9 for the contest. Sophomore
Sean Speck made three saves and allowed all three goals over 78 minutes of action for the visitors.
Union finished the season with a 7-8-1 overall record and 2-7-0 in league play this season.
