SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - As Union College prepares to welcome all students back to campus next week, the Department of Athletics has announced updated spectator policies for intercollegiate events in all indoor athletic facilities, effective today.

Due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases throughout the region, spectators at indoor athletic events at Messa Rink, Viniar Athletic Center and Alumni Gym Pool will be limited to current members of the Union College campus community who are compliant with the College's health and safety protocols. All community members must present a valid Union ID for entry to intercollegiate athletic events. Those outside the Union community will not be permitted to attend home events. 
 
We hope that this policy change will be temporary and the policy will be reevaluated on Jan. 19.

All home events will be video streamed via Boxcast (Division III sports) and ESPN+/Stretch Internet, and live stats for basketball and hockey can be accessed on UnionAthletics.com.
