SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Union College women's soccer team faced off against the Hamilton College Continentals on Tuesday afternoon from College Park Field. Hamilton topped the Dutchwomen 3-1.

Hamilton struck first in the first half at the 23rd minute, giving them a 1-0 lead. Union responded three minutes later off a corner kick to even things up. Piser took the corner kick and whipped the ball towards the goal and her shot was deflected off a defender and into the back of the net to even things up a 1-1.
Hamilton regained the lead in the 44th minute. Hamilton out shot Union 14-5 in the half and edged out Union 4-3 in the corner opportunities. Mitty made six saves on seven shots that found their way on goal.
Hamilton extended their lead to 3-1 in the 63rd minute. The Continentals hung on for a 3-1 win over Union. Berliner replaced Mitty in the second half and made seven saves on eight shots.
Union (8-2-0) will travel to Troy, N.Y. for a 6 p.m. Friday night Liberty League kick off against the Engineers of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
